League update and cancelled practice

We are playing against Guelph Royals tonight at 19:00 (at the Centennial Bowl stadium). Please remember to wear all white, but also to bring our black jerseys and socks, as we are the away team (hence forced to switch in case of a conflict).

Ontario Cup schedule

The Ontario Cup schedule has been added to our calendar. As a reminder, here’s the info:

• We are part of the U16 Boys – Tier 1 competition. Our Tournament Round will take place at Budd Park in Kitchener, on July 9-10.
• All of our games will be played on field #3
• Based on the schedule, I’m assuming our games will be 25 or 30 minutes halves.
• The other teams in Group 5 are : Markham Lightning 1995 Black, Mississauga Falcons A and Kitchener Spirit

A hard worked win, against an always difficult opponent. Great goal by John, sending in a header after the keeper couldn’t control Jordan’s excellent free kick. Six yellow cards, two reds, luckily none of those were for our players!

There were many of our players who had a very good game, especially in the back. In fact, I believe all five of our usual defenders (Noah, Jordan, Ryan, Josh and Mohammed) did just great.
